The Sofa Sessions Presents :: The Tommy Halferty Trio
One of Ireland's leading jazz group's, making their debut performance at the Home of Jazz in Kilkenny on Thursday the 7th of December at Billy Byrne's.
The night will feature exciting new original compositions from their latest studio album entitled 'Station Midi' on LRP Records.
Irish Jazz Guitarist/Composer Tommy Halferty's latest project featuring One of Ireland's leading rhythm sections Dave Redmond on Double-Bass and Kevin Brady Drums.
This trio has to date been performing both nationally & Internationally, performing original compositions which feature a blend of improvised music, swing, rock & blues.
Halferty is one of the leading exponents of Jazz Guitar Improvisation from Ireland, having performed nationally and Internationally for over 30 years.
